The beginning and final images of my logo

Creating my logo was a lot of fun. I had so many thoughts of how I wanted it, I just had to start sketching it to make it happen.
I wanted something complex but after watching the video and ppt, I had to hold back the complexity of the logo. It had to be great but simple.
The further I progressed in the sketching of it made it easier to see what I wanted to achieve. I wanted roundness to my name George Peter Alexander Campbell. I am a flexible well rounded person and I wanted that to show. Although I still wanted to show that I had depth. That is why I took my logo and made the final shape in 3D.
The biggest thing I learned from all the material was to keep it SIMPLE. To the point with meaning. That is hard to do in an instant. It takes time to perfect a logo.
Please notice the steps below that I created in making my GPAC logo.

The final sketch

In AutoCAD I drew to logo in 2D and filled it in

Giving more depth I extruded the sketch into a 3D model.

Finished logo model.
